Legal
Terms of
Service.
The agreement between you and Budgetic when you engage our services — written clearly so you actually understand it.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Budgetic packages — whether listed on our website or provided as a custom quote. Our goal is to make every engagement straightforward, transparent, and fair. If anything here is unclear, please reach out before we start — we’re always happy to discuss.
Getting Started — Proposals & Agreements
Every project begins with a written proposal that outlines scope, deliverables, timeline, and investment. We ask you to review it carefully before confirming — and we encourage you to ask questions. A project kicks off once you’ve confirmed the proposal in writing and paid the initial deposit.
- Proposals are valid for 30 days from the issue date. After this, pricing or scope may need to be revisited.
- We’ll always be upfront about what’s included and what isn’t — no hidden costs or surprise invoices.
- Any changes to scope after the project starts will be discussed openly and quoted before being actioned.
Payments — What We Charge & When
We use a milestone-based payment structure to keep things fair for everyone. You pay in stages as the project progresses — not everything upfront.
Website & Design Projects:
- 50% deposit before work begins — this secures your project slot and covers our initial planning and design work
- 50% final payment on project completion, before we hand over your website credentials or final files
Accounting & Bookkeeping: Monthly, billed in advance as specified in your service agreement.
Social Media Management: 50% at the start of each month, 50% at the end.
Marketing Packages: Full payment in advance (this covers your ad budget and our management fee — both are committed at the start).
Additional services & features not included in your original package are quoted and agreed in writing before we start. Payment for extras is due within 5 business days of invoice.
All prices are in PKR for Pakistan-based clients and in GBP or USD for international clients, as specified in your proposal. Budgetic is not responsible for bank transfer fees or currency conversion charges.
Our Refund Policy — Clear & Fair
We want every client to feel confident engaging us. Here’s exactly how refunds work:
- Before work begins: If you cancel before we start designing or developing, you’re entitled to a full refund of your deposit — no questions asked.
- During early design stages: If you cancel after we’ve begun but before we’ve presented a design concept, we’ll refund 50% of your deposit to cover the time already invested.
- After design has been approved or development is underway: The deposit is non-refundable at this stage, as significant work has been completed. However, we’ll always provide you with everything we’ve built so far.
- After final delivery: No refund applies once the completed project has been handed over and accepted.
If you’re ever unhappy with the direction of the project, please tell us early — we’d much rather fix it than lose a client. Our revision process is designed to get you to a result you love.
Website Packages — What to Expect
Here’s everything you need to know about how our website projects work:
- Timeline: We deliver most websites within 10–12 working days, provided you send us your content, branding, and any reference materials on time. If there are delays on the content side, we’ll keep you updated — and the timeline will shift accordingly. We’ll always give you a realistic new date.
- Design direction: Your website is designed based on the reference sites, styles, or briefs you share with us. Once a design direction is approved, we build it. Design change requests are welcome during the build process and within 15 days of handover. After that, changes are treated as new work and quoted separately.
- Revisions: We include a fair number of revision rounds in every project (specified in your proposal). Revisions mean refining the approved direction — not starting over. Large-scale changes after approval are scoped and priced separately.
- Content: We’ll use placeholder content during development — all final text, images, and assets need to come from you. We’re not responsible for copyright issues arising from client-supplied content.
- Technical errors: If something we built breaks after handover, we’ll fix it at no charge — that’s our responsibility.
- Promotional packages: If there’s a delay of more than 40 days from your side during a promotional package, the promotion may be converted to a standard package. We’ll always notify you before this happens.
Hosting & Domains — How It Works
We provide managed hosting and domains exclusively for websites we build. This is how we ensure your site stays fast, secure, and properly maintained.
- Hosting and domain payment is required before the project begins, and is separate from the website development fee.
- We manage the server environment so you don’t have to — this means cPanel access is not provided. If you need server-level access, we can discuss a managed migration to a hosting environment you control (additional charges apply).
- We’ll remind you 10 days before your hosting or domain renewal date by email or WhatsApp so you’re never caught off guard.
- If a renewal isn’t completed by the due date, your website or domain may be suspended. We’ll always try to reach you before taking any action.
- After our free support period ends, we’re not automatically responsible for backups — but we offer affordable maintenance plans that include this.
- You own your domain. If you ever want to move your website to another hosting provider, we’ll facilitate a clean migration — contact us to discuss options.
Domain names are confirmed with you before purchase — please review the spelling carefully. Once a domain is purchased with your approval, we can’t reverse it.
Support After Delivery
We don’t just hand over your project and disappear. After delivery, you get:
- Free support for 30 days — covering bug fixes, technical questions, and minor adjustments
- Ongoing maintenance plans — affordable monthly or annual plans covering updates, backups, security monitoring, and minor edits
- What’s included in free support: Technical errors we caused, plugin or theme conflicts, and guidance on using the website
- What’s not included: New features, additional pages, design changes, or content updates — these are scoped and quoted separately
After-sales support applies to websites hosted on our servers. For websites hosted elsewhere, we’re happy to help but may need to charge for server access time.
Social Media Management
- To manage your social media, we’ll need your Instagram login and an Admin or Editor role on your Facebook page. All credentials are kept strictly confidential.
- We’ll identify ourselves in your bio as “Managed by @budgetic” — this is standard practice and helps us maintain account credibility.
- Please share all relevant business information with us so we can respond accurately to your audience.
- If you need to change your password during our management period, give us a heads-up so we can update our access without disruption.
- If access is removed without notice while payments are outstanding, we’ll treat this as an early termination. Any remaining balance for the current period remains due.
- Either party can end a social media management engagement with 15 days’ written notice.
Marketing Services
- All marketing packages include a specified ad budget. If you’d like to adjust your ad budget, let us know before the campaign launches.
- Full payment is required upfront — this covers both your ad spend and our management fee, both of which are committed at campaign start.
- We’ll need access to your social media accounts and/or ad accounts to run campaigns effectively.
- Budgetic is not responsible for ad performance outcomes. Results depend on market conditions, audience behaviour, and platform algorithms — factors outside our control. We’ll always be transparent with you about what’s working and what isn’t.
Accounting & Bookkeeping Services
- Every accounting engagement starts with a written agreement specifying scope, deliverables, and monthly fee.
- Payment is monthly, billed in advance.
- You must provide all required financial documents within the agreed timeframe. Accuracy in financial reporting depends on the completeness of information you provide.
- All financial data is handled with strict professional confidentiality, consistent with Chartered Accountant ethical standards.
- Either party may end an accounting engagement with 30 days’ written notice. All fees for the notice period remain payable.
- On termination, your financial records are returned in full and our copies are securely deleted within 30 days.
Budgetic Branding in Deliverables
As part of our standard practice, we include a “Powered and Developed by Budgetic” credit in the footer of websites we build, and in related services such as WooCommerce emails, PDF invoices, and the admin login panel. This is standard in the industry and helps us grow while delivering you a great product.
If you’d prefer to have this removed, please ask us — we can discuss this as part of your project agreement.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Once final payment is received, everything we created specifically for your project belongs to you — your website design, code, logo files, brand assets, and any custom content we wrote for you.
Third-party themes, plugins, and fonts remain subject to their own licenses (we’ll always tell you what’s being used). Our internal processes and generic code frameworks remain ours.
We love showcasing our work, so we may feature your project in our portfolio and marketing materials. If you’d rather we didn’t, just let us know and we’ll respect that.
Resolving Issues — If Something Goes Wrong
We genuinely want every engagement to go smoothly. If something isn’t right, here’s how we handle it:
- Talk to us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly with a conversation. Reach out and we’ll respond within 24 hours.
- Formal dispute process: If a conversation doesn’t resolve things, we commit to a structured resolution process — giving both sides a fair chance to reach an agreement before any escalation.
- Our liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid for that specific engagement. We’re not liable for indirect losses like lost revenue or reputational damage.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. For UK-based clients, applicable UK commercial law also applies.
Your Responsibilities as a Client
Great projects are a team effort. To make sure everything runs smoothly, we ask that you:
- Provide content, assets, and approvals in a timely manner
- Designate one primary point of contact for the project
- Give feedback on designs and drafts within 5 business days of submission
- Let us know early if circumstances change — we’re flexible when we have notice
- Keep any work-in-progress materials confidential until launch
Confidentiality
Whatever you share with us — business plans, financial records, passwords, client data — stays with us. We treat all client information with strict professional confidentiality and will never share it with anyone outside the team working directly on your project. This obligation continues for 2 years after our engagement ends.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. For ongoing engagements, we’ll give you 30 days’ notice of any material changes. Your continued use of our services means you’ve accepted the updated terms.
